This brand-new app from nature specialists, iSpiny, will help you identify mushrooms, toadstools and other fungi quickly and easily. Have fun with fungi!

The app covers a wide range of British fungi, from mushrooms and toadstools to bracket fungi, puffballs, and strange wild fungi, with a range of photos and detailed information on appearance, habitat, edibility and more.

The app includes a ‘Fungus Finder’ to identify mystery fungi. This feature has been carefully designed to require no specialist knowledge so even if you are a complete beginner, you will be able to put a name to your discovery.

Once identified, you can mark the fungus as seen, make notes about it, and automatically check the current date, time, latitude, longitude and Grid Reference. Share the news with your friends straight away with the built-in Facebook and Twitter links.

The app includes iCloud syncing, so that if you have more than one device (iPhone, iPod or iPad) your sightings will automatically synchronise.

You can even add your own photos to the app to compliment the images provided and to really make the app your own.

========= About us =========

Our apps are British-made, by British naturalists - we know our stuff! We have been making apps since the App Store started in 2008, and have a range of popular bird, bird song, and butterfly apps for all iOS devices - iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad & Apple Watch.

========= Our bird apps =========

We have been making bird song apps since the App Store started in 2008, and now have a range of bird and bird song apps for iOS devices - iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad & Apple Watch.

--------------- Chirp! ---------------
Chirp!, described above, is our original and most popular app. The first birdsong ID app, it has been in the the top selling charts every day since it was launched over seven years ago. It has changed considerably in that time as it has grown in size and features.

Chirp! is specifically designed to help you identify and learn birdsongs. However, it is also great if you just want to chill out to the sounds of nature.

----------- ChirpOMatic -----------
For automatic (shazam-style) birdsong ID, you need our ChirpOMatic app.

ChirpOMatic is our newest app. Already the top bird song ID app (in our opinion!), we are very actively developing ChirpOMatic and improving it with every update.

As simple to use as the well-known Shazam app for music, when you hear a bird singing, just point your iPhone, iPad or iPod towards the sound, and tap the button to record. After 12 seconds the recording will stop and you will be shown the top matches.

---- ChirpOMatic & Chirp! bundle ----
The 2 bird song ID apps are available as a bargain bundle. They work together - once you have the identification of a bird in ChirpOMatic, you can tap straight through to the same bird in Chirp!

---- Bird Guide Pro & Pocket Birds ----
These are our full bird guides, with photos, sounds, notes etc, plus features for recording sightings. Bird Guide Pro is our top-of-the-range app, while Pocket Birds is the budget version.

========= Our butterfly apps =========

---- Butterfly ID Britain ----

A guide to all British butterflies plus the most common day-flying moths. The information on each species includes a variety of photos showing males, females, upper and undersides and any variations, plus a distribution map and notes on appearance, habitat, favourite nectar source, distribution and rarity status.

---- Butterfly ID Europe ----

As above, but covering common butterflies and day-flying moths of west and north-west Europe.
